Privacy Policy
This website is deliberately data-minimal: no tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising cookies, no third-party fonts or scripts loaded from external servers. Personal data is processed only where technically necessary to run the site, or where you actively send me data (e.g. via the contact form).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website (Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR) is:
Björn Kindler
Kindler Dev
Bischofshofener Str. 9

Phone: +49 89 62084444
E-mail: info@kindler-dev.de
2. Hosting
This website is hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of this website. More information: hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Server log files
When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically records information in server log files that your browser transmits: the page/file requested, date and time, the amount of data transferred, the referrer URL, the browser used and its version, the operating system, and the IP address (usually truncated and/or stored only briefly). This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (error-free presentation and security of the website). The log files are deleted after a short period.
3. Contact form and e-mail contact
If you send me a message via the contact form or by e-mail, I process the data you provide — name, optionally company, e-mail address, subject and your message — in order to handle your enquiry. When the form is submitted, technical metadata is also stored (timestamp, browser identifier, a truncated/hashed IP address for spam protection). The data is used to handle the enquiry and is kept for a short time in a database on the server mentioned above; it is deleted after 24 months at the latest, or once the purpose no longer applies — unless statutory retention obligations apply.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The e-mail infrastructure used for the notification message is operated under a data processing agreement; message content is not shared with uninvolved third parties.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and does not embed any tracking, advertising or audience-measurement services. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
6. Your rights
You have the right at any time:
- to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) where processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR,
- to withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR),
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the authority responsible for me is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Ansbach.
To exercise your rights or for any data protection questions, please use the contact details given under section 1.
7. Updates
This privacy policy will be updated if anything changes about the data processing (e.g. new website features). The version published here applies in each case.
